Went to eat @ Kwok Fu Chen(KFC) after shopping for the bday dudes present..

The ladies head home after dinner.

Decided to head down to Clarke Quay to chill...SO..Ben, HX and I went walking from Orchard down to Clarke Quay!!WHOSE IDEA!..mine =]

haha...was like around half an hour walk?..HX and I was like ok..but, Ben was complaining leg pain...Hahaha..hmm..Got to know some *erhm facts from both dudes...was quite fun though..

Stopped down at, Jazz @ South Bridge..

Nice place to chill out..

Took Orders...I'm not a drinker so a bit lost when I was in there, so Ben and HX help me out...

Can't remember what they ordered...HX's drink was Strong...in alcohol..BUT..I like mine, Ben's recommend:

Snow Ball.(more of a drink than a cocktail)

I kept saying it's Snow Ice..haha..Funny thing is that, after HX finish his drink(1st to finish!..was fast) he can't really function well..lol..so funny lar..he kept saying he wanna sleep..then he went to 7/E and got nothing~..haha..He wasn't drunk but I guess the alcohol got him sleepy.

Anyway, it's a jazz pub(duh!~) and the performers were fierce, I mean, were Excellento..very nice place although there's some noisy parkers" =]

...It was a drag, serious..to go all the way down to the west to do SOUND..., was tell Val, actually when my IC ask me if i could make it for musio prac every wed..I wouldn't mind..until the day..I'll feel that I've got more "important" things to do..eg.: YuMei's birthday is on the 23rd, and the CG is gonna celebrate this Sat during Cg..I gotta do her Bday CARD!!..and I'm leading GAMES this week!!(replace Sher)..and I haven started on my 10 piece PORTFOLIO!!!..AHHH!!...

BUT

I guess it's worth going down to serve!..learnt quite alot today..I got to do the Main Mix man..for the overall sound(like, Vocals & Music) for the audi...

I've learnt something~ in fact many things out of yesterday..Mixing, Adjusting Knobs, Leveling,..and besides all that,

out of that show, I've learnt to be a man of integrity and honesty...and out of musio prac, being Sharp, having the Wisdom from the HolySpirit...

Something what Pst Yong had share with the Worship leaders and Musicians [that inspired me], "whenever you play or sing..no matter how good looking you may look on the outside(not saying what so ever, but...), you gotta have the presence of God carrying inside of you,...how?Read the Bible, Pray..basic principles."

I mean it's so true, like what I've learnt from Tuesday's PM with the Zone leaders and helpers, what makes you carry the confidence/faith is really by reading the Book man...;God's anointing can't flow through you if you don't have confidence/faith..I'm not trying to start preaching but yar..this's what I've learnt: beingHumble&havingConfidence in who you are in Christ =]

YUp...and..BAM, it's 4+ in da morning....k, I needa sleep!..*remembering, I can't waste my morning!

*Funny thing!- when the street soccer lights went off around 10~..Jon Chai kicked the ball so..so hard that it went flying towards Shang's upper part of his little-brother...Lol..the funny thing is.. "I can't see anything, only the ball(s).." laughed Jon.Get it!ahaha...

Awesome CG+meeting & Buddies

Had a awesome CG meeting as it's the 1st CG of this month/year.

Charmaine preached a cool/good/impactful/Great word on our VISION in Life.

For me, I guess this message really impacted me in the way that

I'll tell myself, I want to change for the better..

& what really hit me on the head is when Charmaine talked about...

A failure lives his/her

life base on survival,

an Average dude lives his/her life on Maintenance,

and A SUCCESSFUL man/lady lives his/her life on PROGRESS!..Wow, mann.

I mean it's so true, and I believe everyone wants to be successful in life.

BUT, what then is stop us from progressing..?

I feeel for me, it's seriously, Laziness..I want this year '08 to be a year that I really get out of this

Bad Habit. I really want to see myself achieving what I've written down on the Goal card.

Anyway, Cg Today: started with..

Games, that's where Serena led. Played CHARADES..was kinda fun with a bit of a twist on how you answer the question by, the whole team gotta stand to answer. TK, CH, HX, and WK was represented to act from all 4 teams that we've split up in the beginning. FUNNY thing that when benedict came in to join in the end as he was late...pulled in by Glenn to join in their team's sabo!..Hilarious =)

Praise, that's when WK lead and Glenn was on the acoutic!..woo..they did great!..Great start*

Followed by testimony and Worship then to the WORD then off to setting our Goals then to offering..

Off to TK house with of cos TK and Glenn, for some Winning 11 , but he left the ps2 in his mom's car.

so we went to TK room to wait for his mom to return.

While we were waiting, I read up on the papers,

Met up with TK, Val, Sher, Serena and Mel at City hall Mrt then decided to head down to Funan IT Mall food court for dinner and discuss on CG matters. Had our dinner and half way through, Charmaine came. Just nice when we were done, WK reach. Believe that he rushed home to change after Reservist before he came over. ..Heard a couple of good news like~:

Val PASSED her driver..wow..CG got plenty of drivers..hope I'll be in that league someday before I hit mid 20's..haha..

and

WK PASSED his IPPT test!woo fit and fierce..haha

Anyway Charmaine discussed on the CG matters like, reshuffle of teams and job allocations. And Charmaine is going to "make" us take up either Praise, Games, Testimony, and Offering. But for some of us only Praise and Games..not too bad...I mean its not-bad but a good thing that we step out of our comfort zone and go to another level in both spiritual and leadership. Basically I'm excited and nervious of cos..haha..yup so this Sat it'll be a great CG man!

Then after, went down to bedok to meet up with my pals, Jin, BENjamin, and Xian for dinner again??yea..ate a bit more of: wings, bit of some "drain-caught" stingray~ and drunk Lime jo I mean juice. After that, left for bus10 down to Jin hse to stay-over. I guess I don't really connect to them as how much I do in the past..hmm..(sad)..As in you can see the difference between church pals v/s pals"who aren't coming to church". Yea man..you know what I mean, but still..gotta get THEM SAVE MAN!!!arrgh..I LOVE..Jesus =)
